I much need advice for getting over my ex boyfriend!! help please !?

My ex boyfriend was my first real boyfriend and after a year and a half i had with him. He took my virginity i guess you could say. He was the worst kind of guy for me and yet i fell deeply in love with him. Maybe because i had known him for so long b4 we dated and liked him for so long but either way he lied to me about almost everything except his name and age. He cheated on me and wouldn't tell me the truth about his drug use. I broke up with him after 3 years and now i have this awesome boyfriend that it feel impossible to fall in love with. I don't think I'm over my ex or the feelings of hatred and betrayal i have for him. Please Some advice . because i don't want my current boyfriend to suffer for my past.
