How do i tell if i blew my moms engine?

What a mess! Sound like you spun a bearing on the crankshaft. This may all be related to the original water leak, You may have gotten coolant in the oil and wiped out a bearing. Don't run the engine anymore. You may still be able to save the crankshaft. I'm betting that thing has a lot of miles on it though, and an engine replacement or rebuild is in the cards. Sorry.
